Made in the image of the Mighty One. Ooh. Ooh. Made a big mistake while I was having fun. Ooh. Ooh. Betting on the hope that I'll be forgiven. Ooh. Ooh. You asked for a reason, no reason is given. Ooh. Ooh Breaking through glass. Ooh. Ooh. Everybody hates me. Ooh. Ooh. Things are changing fast. Ooh. Ooh. How come no jury? Ooh. Ooh. How come no jury? And how come no love? How come no peace be with you? Makes me feel like I never stepped foot In this world. Taking you with us. How can I make it better? Makes me feel like I never stepped foot In this world. Want you to feel like you're a part of this. Ooh. Ooh. Want you to feel like it's a passionate kiss. Ooh. Ooh. I wasn't your first. Ooh. Ooh. I pretend that I was. Ooh. Ooh. At least suspicious. Ooh. Ooh. Why have I stalled? Ooh. Ooh. Why have I stalled? And how come no love? How come no peace be with you? Makes me feel like I never stepped foot In this world. Taking you with us. How can I make it better? Makes me feel like I never stepped foot In this world.

She’s a fight-ah. Don’t sit beside her. She’ll make you crawl out of the door you walked in through. Walk the line-ah. She’s so divine. I can’t make her get out of my head. I’ve heard other folks have made it work before. Don’t think I believe that anymore. She’s just necessary for me, Even as she spills me. Even as she spills me. And she’ll fight-cha. Spin around and bite-cha. You’ll say you don’t love it but inside you know you do. Walk the line-ah. She’s so divine I can’t make her get out of my head. I’ve heard other folks have made it work before. Don’t think I believe that anymore. She’s just necessary for me. Even as she spills me. Even as she spills me. She’s so divine-ah Walk the line-ah So divine-ah Walk the line-ah I can’t make her get out of my head.

They chew it like a lemon. They devour their transgressions. They love to make it show. And I walk amongst the chatter. Often something keeps them stirring. All defense and often worried. Their numbers getting fatter and they love to make it show. I still don’t see the matter. Still can’t join the fight or clatter. Watch them flatten things to flatter and they love to make it show. Hold us. Hold us. Comfort us truly. No better but could be. Hold us. Hold us, yeah. They’re forcing us to leave so there’s just them and no others. Only rich folk can hang out here. You were never wanted or welcome. You were never called or invited. Never asked if you were coming. The answer’s always no. But still you hope that you have something. So you and I were standing in the parking lot of The Landing. Every car was dark and empty, and the winter wind was blowing. Hold us. Hold us. Comfort us truly. No better but could be. Hold us. Hold us, yeah. They love to make it show. Love to watch us while we’re waiting. But we never got to see them. They were laughing around the corner. So I asked you for a lighter ‘cause I had something for lighting. We decided to go drinking.

Shove the muzzle in my mouth. Tie me up & sit me down. Make every second worth your while. The blazing things I let you do to me Are fine, is fine, it’s fine, we’re fine, we’re finally here and here is fine. Hold me underwater. Underwater viciously. We’ll blame it all on Michigan. We’re here, we’re gone, we’re blue, we’re back again, Back to what always seems the end. This has been coming now, we could see it for a mile. We could see it on the edge, hanging dank and all disgustingly. But regardless of your thoughts, you came to me. Shove it all right down my throat, chew me up and spit me out. I promise not to blink, or yawn, or choke. In front of us the world is sitting heavy, pretty heavy all the while We’re sitting mostly with a smile. We smile…. We smile….

Thinking of walking. Don’t have anything in me. Darken. It was too dark to see. A windy beginning & a beautiful cloud. Water. Fetching some water for me & you. Rocks propping up me, and I’m adding a buddy for me. Take it. And you took it, Took it to the table to eat with me. Should I need it. Should I need it. Should I need it. Whatever you’ll be chewing It’ll taste like a daydream, Smothered in butter, Dripping like bacon, However you like it. I’ve got your love. Should I need it. Should I need it. A windy beginning. A beautiful cloud. Water. Fetching some water for you & me. Should I need it. Should I need it. Should I need it.

Over the years. Around the years. Under the years. Ahh. Through the years. A hundred beers. Between my ears. Ahh. Drinking in some thoughts of past and some were not my own. Working like a dog alone, but dogs deserve a bone. The bone, alas, was fleeting and was never meant to be. So now I’m just a worker... (1, 2, 3!)... coolest worker I can be. Over the years. Around the years. Under the years. Ahh. Through the years. Ten hundred beers. Between my ears. Ahh. My pictures were on a locker. Now they’re on a phone. Never seen so many things while trying to be alone. Better get back to scrubbing. It’s harder when it’s dry. I’ll scrub away the bitter taste… (3, 4, 5!)... of tears that I have cried. Over the years. Around the years. Under the years. Ahh. Through the years. All the beers. Between my ears. Ahh. Some things are leaving I was loving. Some of those aren’t coming back. But as long as I’ve got a few fingers. This paper is under attack. Drinking in some thoughts of past and some were not my own. Drinking in some thoughts of past and some were not my own. x2 Over the years. Under the years. Ahh. Around the years. Through the years. Ahh. Over the years. Ahh. Around the years. Ahh. Under the years. Ahh. Behind the years. Ahhh.

McLoone 03:55
Hey McLoone, hey McLoone. McLoone can you hear me? I think I’ve had my fill. Find it difficult to be talking. Can’t even think about thinking of walking. I shouldn’t have let you make me take that pill. On Friday I was her boyfriend, On Saturday I was her lover. On Sunday she and I just lay in bed. On Monday went back to working And was fine until Thursday, When you came around and kept me from my bed. Her hair was dark and long. Her skin was pale and pretty. She smelled like tropical rain when she was near. She smiled like a million smiles. She was definite and witty. We were happy enough until you came back around here . Hey McLoone, hey McLoone. McLoone you better hear me. I think I’ve had my fill. I’m ready to start punching, and you’re gonna get a kicking. How could I lose her for you? Hey McLoone.

I am a little beggarman and begging I have been For three score or more in this little isle of green I'm known from the Liffey down to Segue And I'm known by the name of old Johnny Dhu Of all the trade's that's going, sure begging is the best For when a man is tired, he can sit down and rest He can beg for his dinner, he has nothing else to do Only cut around the corner with his old rig-a-doo I slept in the barn, down at Caurabawn A wet night came on and I slept 'till the dawn With holes in the roof and the rain coming through And the rats and the cats, they were playing peek-a-boo When who did I waken but the woman of the house With her white spotty apron and her calico blouse She began to frighten and I said "boo Aarah, don't be afraid mam it's only Johnny Dhu" I met a little flaxy-haired girl one day "Good morning little flaxy-haired girl" I did say "Good morning little beggarman, a how do you do With your rags and you tags and your old rig-a-doo" I'll buy a pair of leggings, a collar and a tie And a nice young lady I'll fetch by and by I'll buy a pair of goggles and I'll colour them blue And an old fashioned lady I will make her too Over the road with my pack on my back Over the fields with my great heavy sack With holes in my shoes and my toes peeping through Singing skinny-me-rink a doodle o and old Johnny Dhu I must be going to bed for it's getting late at night The fire's all raked and out goes the light So now you've heard the story of my old rig-a-doo It's good-bye and God be with you says old Johnny Dhu

Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone. Don’t do anything. Don’t do anything. Don’t do nothing ‘til I’m gone. Breakfast is for vitamins. Nighttime is for bowls. Bedtime’s for wandering. Always on my toes. She’s so complete. It sometimes brings me down. I cannot complete, if I even love her frown. Don’t do anything. Don’t do anything. Don’t do nothing ‘til I’m gone. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone. In unison together, like a lady and a gent. Yes, I understand you. Gobble up another cent. Pause for a moment here. Wait for the other shoe to drop. Let’s make it spectacular up until we have to stop. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone. Don’t do anything. Don’t do anything. Don’t do nothing ‘til I’m gone. Don’t do anything. Don’t do anything. Don’t do nothing ‘til I’m gone. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take the pictures down. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone. Don’t take down the pictures ‘til I’m gone.

Sometimes in the evening, the morning is a memory, The middle of the night can stare you down. Is it the floor or the bed tonight? You feel no protection any night. The fan blocks that horrible silent sound. But then you smile because you’ve given up. And nothing breaks your heart anymore. Untouchable and turning, Believing that nothing breaks your little heart anymore. The breaklights. The headlights. The icy drive ahead. Your anger fluctuates from town to town. Do you want to go where you’re headed? No. But you’ve gotta. This is the dream that keeps you writhing around. There’s a little place by the river. You swore that you were with it. And dammit you were happy there once or twice. I too have left there smiling, But once I left there bleeding, Thinking of home and singing Edelweiss. (Edelweiss, Edelweiss, you seem happy to see me) But then you smile ‘cause you’re not giving up. ‘Cause nothing breaks your heart anymore. Untouchable and turning, Knowing that nothing breaks your little heart anymore. Knowing that nothing breaks your little heart anymore. Knowing that nothing breaks your little heart anymore. Nothing breaks your little heart.

Monkeys 03:11
My best friends are monkeys And my enemies keep away from the bushes. Keep slamming shut. Air. Kicks and pushes. Been standing on Main St. too long I believe that I'm now half neon. I'm now half neon. I'm gonna get mine. I'm gonna get mine 'til it's gone. I'm gonna get mine. I'm gonna get mine 'til it's gone. And I'm now half neon. I'm gonna get mine. I'm gonna get mine. I'll sleep when I need, of course, But not on purpose. (I'm gonna get mine, I'm gonna get mine) Keep slamming shut. Shy. And a little bit nervous (I'm gonna get mine, I'm gonna get mine) Been on Main St. too long, I believe that I'm now half neon. I'm gonna get mine, I'm gonna get mine. I'm now half neon.

Who’s standing on top of this? Who’s gonna pull the top down? Who’s gonna turn the lights out? Who’s gonna cover me up? This isn’t this at all. This isn’t medicine. This ain’t nothing good. Who’s standing on top of this? Come in from the rotten wind blowing down into the subways Blowing into the churches. Blowing into the banks. Some say heaven is won. Reserved for one type of person. I used to know that. I used to know him. Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh Who’s gonna tuck me in? Who’s gonna burn a candle? Who’s gonna blow it out? Who’s gonna cover me up? Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
